چکیده

PurposeIncreased variability in the non-invasive gene expression profiling (GEP) (AlloMap®) is associated with an increased risk of future events, but association absolute change below threshold GEP scores events has not yet been evaluated.MethodsPatients from Surveillance HeartCare Outcomes Registry (SHORE) score < 34 had test calculated. The event interest was a combination rejection (ISHLT ≥ 2R and/or AMR 1), death, and graft dysfunction (LVEF <40% or LVEF >=25% consecutive visit). Patients were divided into three groups: 1: Event - within 14 days event, 2: Prior 3 more tests over 30 prior to 3: No testing those no event. Group 1 2 are paired. N number x-axis label Figure patient each group.ResultsOf 2029 patients SHORE, there Event, 743 groups. Age, race, sex did differ significantly between median highest group (34.0), compared both (30.1) (30.7) groups, p<0.001. elevated ≥30 equivocal non-event control group, p = 0.25. GEP< different at time p=0.0046. (Figure 1)ConclusionGEP changes ahead clinical events. Absolute may add incremental prognostic information for beyond use value, especially 34. Absolute value programming

We investigate equations, inequalities and mathematical programs involving absolute values of variables such as the equation Ax + B|x| = b, where A and B are arbitrary m × n real matrices. We show that this absolute value equation is NP-hard to solve, and that solving it solves the general linear complementarity problem. However, we propose a concave minimization problem for its solution that i...

A uniform approximation method to solve absolute value equation

In this paper, we propose a parametric uniform approximation method to solve NP-hard absolute value equations. For this, we uniformly approximate absolute value in such a way that the nonsmooth absolute value equation can be formulated as a smooth nonlinear equation. By solving the parametric smooth nonlinear equation using Newton method, for a decreasing sequence of parameters, we can get the ...

Absolute Value Equations

We investigate existence and nonexistence of solutions for NP-hard equations involving absolute values of variables: Ax − |x| = b, where A is an arbitrary n × n real matrix. By utilizing an equivalence relation to the linear complementarity problem (LCP) we give existence results for this class of absolute value equations (AVEs) as well as a method of solution for special cases. We also give no...

A note on unique solvability of the absolute value equation

It is proved that applying sufficient regularity conditions to the interval matrix $[A-|B|,A + |B|]$, we can create a new unique solvability condition for the absolute value equation $Ax + B|x|=b$, since regularity of interval matrices implies unique solvability of their corresponding absolute value equation. This condition is formulated in terms of positive deniteness of a certain point matrix...

Absolute Identification 1 Running Head : ABSOLUTE IDENTIFICATION IS RELATIVE Absolute Identification Is Relative : A reply to

N. Stewart, G. D. A. Brown, and N. Chater (2005) presented a relative judgment model (RJM) of absolute identification, in which the current stimulus is judged relative to the preceding stimulus. S. Brown, A. A. J. Marley, and Y. Lacouture (2007) found that the RJM does not predict their finding of increased accuracy after large stimulus jumps, except at the expense of other effects. In fact, th...
